January 2022 Update:
Fridley Public Schools began Blended Learning Model instruction on Monday, January 10. All students will attend school in the Blended Learning Model, which means they are learning from home.
- Monday, January 10 - Thursday, January 27 - Blended Online Learning at home for all students
- Monday, January 17 - No School for staff and students (as indicated on school calendar)
- Friday, January 28 - Staff Planning Day (as indicated on our school calendar, no school for students)
- Monday, January 31 - Modified Blended Learning Day
In our Blended Learning Plan, students learn from home:
Our Blended Learning Plan "blends" short-term online learning in place of regular in-person learning due to a COVID-19 spread. Students learn from home through online instruction provided by their individual teachers through SeeSaw (PreK-K) or Google Classroom (Grades 1-12).
Free school meals available for pick up:
Nutritional Services will offer daily lunch and breakfast meal pick up while students are in Blended Learning. From 11:00 am-1:00 pm, we will distribute a hot lunch and breakfast for the next day. Children must be enrolled in Fridley Public Schools (Preschool-Grade 12) to receive meals. You can pick up meals at any of the following schools for all enrolled children.
Daily Pick Up Locations (from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm):
- Stevenson Elementary: Main Entrance
- Hayes Elementary: Main Entrance
- Fridley Middle School: Cafeteria Doors
- Fridley High School: Door 15
*Please note: Beginning on Wednesday, January 19, Meal Pick Up Hours have been EXTENDED and will take place from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm daily.
There will be no meal pick up on January 17, January 28, or January 31.
Please note: We are continuously monitoring information on COVID-19 along with recommendations from the Department of Health and Department of Education. The district will inform families of changes as information and recommendations are updated from the state and health officials.
FRIDLEY SAFE LEARNING PLAN
The following links provide information regarding the district's safe learning plan. These plans are developed and implemented according to state guidelines on safe learning environments for students and staff. Since the COVID-19 and its variants are still in our communities, these plans may change to reflect new guidelines and mandates from the state as well as education and health officials.
COVID-19 vaccinations are readily available for all Minnesotans, ages 5 years and older. To find up-to-date vaccination information and locations, click here to visit the state's COVID-19 Vaccinations website.
American Academy of Pediatricians recommendations of keeping students safe and physically present in school include face coverings/masks for staff and students ages two years and older.

COVID-19 vaccine is available for anyone ages 5 years and older.
